“We’ve recently worked on listed buildings, manufacturing replacement casements while preserving original glass,” says Dee Newman, Finance Director. “This requires precision and like-for-like replication, alongside preparing drawings for council approvals.”
Always keeping one eye on its sustainable responsibilities, Bluerun has replaced fluorescent lighting in its workshop with energy-efficient LEDs to reduce its carbon footprint.
Looking ahead, the company is enhancing customer experience by launching an online shop for handcrafted items like mirrors, tables, and clocks. “Long-term, we aim to expand our bench joiner team and refine our processes to better serve our customers,” Dee adds.
