INCO ROBOTICS has brought a genuine innovation to the UK: WAVETHRU, a passive glazing treatment that solves poor indoor mobile signal. As buildings have become more thermally efficient, metallic coatings within high-performance glass can now block up to 99% of mobile signals.
Solutions such as DAS and small cell repeaters compensate, but are also expensive, energy-hungry, visually intrusive and require ongoing maintenance.
WAVETHRU is fundamentally different. Using an ultra-precise laser treatment, it microscopically etches the metal coating within existing glazing, addressing the problem at source and transforming the glazing itself into part of the connectivity solution.
As a retrofit for existing buildings, WAVETHRU is the most cost-effective solution available: a one-time, on-site treatment with no ongoing energy consumption, no maintenance contracts and no active infrastructure to run. It improves indoor signal strength by up to 25dB across all frequencies below 6GHz, working with every operator and technology, including 4G, 5G and emergency networks.
Already deployed across more than 100 buildings in Europe, WAVETHRU is now live in the UK through INCO ROBOTICS – turning part of a building’s biggest weakness into part of its connectivity infrastructure
Get in touch or meet us & the Robot that performs the treatment at PropTech Connect 9-10th September.
